COLORADO SPRINGS. St. Gabriel Parish is spearheading a festival with an East Coast flair, wrapping a carnival, a 400-seat beer garden, wine tastings, a 5K walk/run and a Shroud of Turin exhibit, among many elements, into one weekend. It will also feature the parish’s Spanish dancing ministry, Polynesian dancers, karate demonstrations, free concerts, a craft fair, a Cheyenne Mountain Zoo mini petting zoo, a Briarpatch with kids’ games, a meet-and-greet with the city’s new professional soccer team, a silent auction and food vendors.
