COLORADO SPRINGS. The release of Pope Francis’ apostolic exhortation "Amoris Laetitia" has focused renewed attention on the number of Catholics who are divorced. But one local expert says that couples have more control over their futures than they might realize, and that there are things people can do now to significantly lower their risk of divorce down the road. "The true divorce rate is both a good and bad news story," said Glenn Stanton, director of global family formation studies at Focus on the Family.

4-15-16 BLESSINGS IN BLOOM: Daffodils This time of year Colorado is sprinkled with daffodils! These glorious flowers brighten the landscape and bring a smile to most everyone who sees them. They are easy to grow, long lasting and to Christians might resemble the cup/chalice surrounded by pedals/Holy Communion. The daffodil is a reminder of Jesus at the last supper, "Take this cup . . . take this bread . . . do this in memory of me".
