La Planificación Familiar Natural ofrece muchos beneficios para las parejas de esposos, pero éstos no llegan de manera automática, dijo la popular bloguera Simcha Fisher, autora del libro titulado “The Sinner’s Guide to Natural Family Planning” (La guía de Planificación Familiar Natural del pecador) publicado por la editorial Our Sunday Visitor. AUTHOR’S NOTE: During this Year of Marriage and the Family, I propose to write a pastoral letter on these themes, spaced out in monthly installments. I would like to address topics such as the nature of marriage, the importance of sexuality and conjugal love, the gift of children, the ancient roots of marriage, the reality of an enduring natural law of marriage, the virtue of chastity, the theology of the body, the sacramental nature of marriage, the relationship between marriage and priestly celibacy, holistic marriage versus artificial interventions, the varying forms of family life, the duties of parents and of children, and finally a spirituality of marriage. In these reflections, I will be drawing upon the Church’s profound teaching and lived tradition, as well as contemporary sources of understanding.
