THE COLORADO CATHOLIC HERALD

April 06, 2012
COLORADO SPRINGS. Divine Mercy Sunday, which is celebrated every year the week after Easter, will take place on April 15.  Bishop Michael Sheridan will again preside at Divine Mercy devotions at St. Mary Cathedral on April 15. Confessions will be heard from 1-3 p.m. There will be exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at 1:15 p.m., with adoration until 2:45 p.m. The Chaplet of Divine Mercy will be prayed at 2:45 p.m., followed by Mass at 3 p.m. The church has traditionally marked 3-4 p.m. each day as the “hour of divine mercy,” as Christ’s death on the cross is believed to have occurred at 3 p.m.
